Privacy policy

Last updated 7 September 2026. This policy explains how Heeso handles information when you use the app and this website.

What we collect

Account details you provide (name, email, password hash). Guest accounts have no email. If you sign in with Google or Facebook we receive the name, email, and avatar those services share. We store likes, playlists, recent plays, follows, and purchase records needed to run your subscription.

Ads and consent

If ads are enabled, Google AdMob may collect a device advertising identifier and similar signals. In the European Economic Area, UK, and other regions where Google requires it, the app shows a Google User Messaging Platform (UMP) consent form before personalized ads. You can change that choice later in the app under Settings → Manage ad privacy, or in your device ad settings. Premium subscribers do not see ads when that option is on in admin.

Copyright reports

If you submit a Report copyright form we store the track title, your message, and an optional email so we can reply. See the copyright policy.

Payments

In-app purchases are processed by Google Play or the App Store. Card and PayPal checkout, if offered on the web, are processed by Stripe or PayPal. We store plan status and a payment reference, not full card numbers.

How long we keep it

We keep account data until you delete the account in the app, or an administrator deletes it. You can request deletion at any time from Profile in the app.
